TBC: World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships 2011: Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales (UK): This unique event takes place in a bog on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells where a trench has been cut. Competitors have to cycle two lengths of the bog, approximately 90 metres, using snorkels and riding specially prepared mountain bikes which are supplied with the tyres filled with lead and water. TBC: Snowdonia Marathon (UK): The demanding and spectacular route, encircling Snowdon - Wales' and England's highest peak, has given the event a unique place in the annual marathon callender ever since.
