Cripes, there were some very cool racebikes at the NEC
show including Valentino Rossi's Honda RC211V,
Colin Edwards World Superbike, Kenny Robert's
RGV500, Garry McCoy's Red Bull Yamaha.....

Neil, Andy and Todd made their way to the Birmingham
NEC for this years International Motorcycle Show. There
seemed to be fewer exhibitors at the show this year (we
didn't see any MCN or emap people - bummer) but we managed
to get a load of photos of some of the road going bikes
you'll see blasting down the tarmac in 2003 .....

Well what a motorcycle show without women (I guess a
just a show of bikes?) anyways we managed to get a few
photos of the girls at the NEC but as usual they seemed
to run and hide when we got near. Hmmm... perhaps if we
didn't look like a pack of crazed perverts we would of
had more success.... See our

Dr. Farrow, Andy, Neil and Todd made our annual pilgrimage
to the 9th Classic & Motorcycle Mechanics Show
at Stafford. They said that there were some amazing deals
on offer like an RG500 (asking £1,200), some cool
Yamaha RD's and a rusty old BSA off-road bike which Neil
took an unhealthy attraction to......

Dr. Andy Holmes went to the Manx Grand Prix and
he returned with a trophy (he took second place in 'The
Main Event') and a huge selection of excellent racing
photos... See our MANX GP

The Ramsey Sprint took place during the Manx GP.
Andy was there to cover the event for us and he got some
crackin shots. Sure he suffered some hearing loss in the
process but once you see the photos you'll agree that
it was well worth it... See
our SPRINT RACING photos...
Yet again we have Dr. Andy Holmes to thank for these
great shots of some of the cool bikes which were hammering
around the circuit at this years Manx GP.... See

We
went to the Day of Champions at this years British
GrandRrix and it was GREAT! Todd got to ride passenger
on Gary Horspole's Formula 2 sidecar (which came 3rd in
this years TT), we saw load of cool stuff like some of the
bikes Barry Sheene used to race, there were demonstrations
from the Lings MX team, Gary Rothwell, Supermotos... See

Goodwood
Festival of Speed wasn't just good it was great. Where
else can you see such a variety of museum pieces being fired
up and taken through their paces. Some of the famous bikes
there were the Moto Guzzi dustbin faired V8, The Slippery
Sam, Mike Hailwoods 1962 Honda RC162... The big let down
had to be the parking facility for bikes- there wasn't any!

Coupes
Moto Legende is Europes biggest event for classic motorcycles
which took place at Montlhery (the famous banked circuit
near Paris). With black rain clouds looming over head Dr.
Andy strapped an old tent onto his Ducati 900ss and set
off for France with the objective of taking a few photos
of the event for us. Well done Andy!..

Thundersprint
2002 had something for everyone... a wide range of classic
bikes, sidecars, a class for women racers only, Monkey bikes,
and even the Ducati S4 Monsters (used in the British Superbike
S4 Championship). Stunt rider Neil Porter demonstrated some
amazing bike handling skills as he wheelied and burned his
way down the track...
We
and a load of other bargain hunters attend the show to look,
drool, rummage and haggle. There were some very nice bikes
on display every thing from dustbin faired MV Augstas to
Yamaha FS1-E's. Neil found some CR125 base gaskets for £1(a
bargain), Dr. Farrow purchased a superb crank, barrels and
pistons for his racing Yamaha LC 250's and all I bought
some crummy gaffa tape...
