Now having built the main parts of the frame we can start to fit the many panels so lovingly cut out by the plasma machine at Robin Hood.

Now, first you'll need to figure out which panels you need, easier when you've watched the videos a few times. Having done that you'll need a drill, plenty of bits and a lot of patience. Note that we sprayed all our panels with etch primer when we got them back from the factory (in case you are worried that we are building a Biege kitcar)

	The major internal panels are the firewall and the transmission tunnel. Begin by loosely clamping up all the bits - the key to the 2B is how you get everything to fit, not the accurate placement of a single piece!
	before drilling and fixing anything test fit the ancilaries like the brake servo and the pedal box from the Sierra - you don't have much room to play with. Once a panel has been clamped in the correct position you can drill a hole through the panel and the frame (using a 1/4" drill) which you then screw a self tapping screw in to to fix the panel. Once all panels are fixed in this way and everything else is fitted you will replace the screws with rivets. Remeber that you still have to fit the bonnet over this lot, so don't permanently fix it yet...
	The steering assembly is mounted onto a strip of metal wrapped around the frame tubes - but check the clearance of the column before fixing anything
	Hmm, the steering column looks extremely close to the engine mounts - these are the things that you need to check and that keep you at wake at night - don't fix anything until you know where everything else is meant to go.

	People with size 13 feet need not apply for a trip in the 2B, the footwell is narrow, but not too bad for a car of this type
	Before fitting the transmission tunnel panels, check the seat fitment, you can then make sure everything is going to fit.
	Is that dash supposed to fit? We have a cunning plan to bypass this - sadly it involves actually leaving our nice warm office and spending time in a drafty look-up so don't hold your breath...

Patience is a virtue and you can't have too many clamps...
