I really enjoyed this chick-flick, and I hate chick flicks. It centers around Halley (Mandy Moore), who has a weird dad that announces his upcoming marriage on his radio show before telling her, her best friend who finds out she's pregnant after her summer boyfriend dies from a heart defect, her sister who is planning a wedding, and her mom who starts a new romance. It's a teen drama with some romance and humor.

It doesn't skip a beat with the funny, cute, and sensative side of Halle Martin (played by Mandy Moore) and it will make you wish your first love was a sweet (and unexpected) as this.
