The role is to support patients and visitors attending the hospital to ensure that they get to their destination. Volunteering can also be an opportunity to develop new skills that could be useful in terms of future career progression/choices. The role also requires good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide variety of patients who may require compassionate care and support during their stay in hospital.
